Pancake Tossers do it again
Wednesday, February 20, saw a late but none the less successful pancake day. This event, to raise funds for the Village Hall, saw Mrs Doreen Reid and Mrs Coral Ford tossing pancakes, for most of the day and into the evening, for the delight of their guests. They tossed 168 pancakes in all. There was also a raffle and a bring and buy stall, manned by Mr Robert Ford. All day tea and coffee was provided by Mr Timothy Lister, who also did the washing up. The day raised over £390. A big thank-you to all from the village hall trustees.
