SUMMER GARDEN PARTY
at Mel and Ken’s
The St John’s Church held a Summer Garden Party last Saturday at the ‘Pink House’ at 64 Blunham Road, by kind invitation of Mel and Ken Ebbage.
There was a BBQ, some fantastic cupcakes, an ice cream parlour, games, including putting and boule and a raffle. The boule competition was won by Jane Beharrell and Ron Whitlock.
We were entertained with some live music by The N’ukes a ukulele quartet. The event was well attended by more than 50 people and a grand day was had by all. A really big thank-you to everyone who turned out to setup and run stalls on the day as well as the BBQ. Also a big thank-you to Mel and Ken for providing such a delightful venue for this event. Monies raised were in aid of St John’s Church.
